September 27 is CARE Chest Day in Clark County!
Las Vegas, Nevada, September 27, 2023– CARE Chest officially opens its Southern Nevada Headquarters on West PostRoad in Las Vegas today at 10:30 a.m. with a Grand Opening Ceremony and ribbon-cutting! The location is open Monday –Friday; 8:30 am – 5:00 pm and serves Nevadans residing in Lincoln, Nye, Esmerelda, and Clark Counties.
CAREChest is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides free medical equipment, supplies, prescription assistance, independent living home modifications, supplemental medical nutrition, and other vital resources to Nevadans in need. Since its inception nearly 35 years ago, CARE Chest has provided more than 500,000 unique consumer services to the community. CARE Chest is a multi-service agency recognized throughout The State of Nevada by area hospitals, low-income clinics, and social service agencies as an essential medical resource for Underserved populations.
“CAREChest makes it possible for people to live healthier, more independent lives,” says Anne McNulty, Executive Director.” “Our southern Nevada Headquarters will make it easier for our team to meet the needs of people living in the southern part of the State. Not only are consumers able to pick up their supplies and equipment at this location, but our team also travels to several southern Nevada communities monthly to meet consumers close to their homes.”
The Grand Opening begins at 10:30 a.m. with a Las Vegas Chamber-sponsored ribbon-cutting at 11:00 a.m. and a tour and refreshments continuing through 12:30 p.m.
